Giant Anacondas

Giant Anacondas

There is little to be said hear as its all in the name really. All I can do is give an example of cases where they have been seen.

In 1907 Lt-Col. Percy Fawcett encountered a giant anaconda on the Rio Abuna, at a point near where it joins the Rio Negro, near the southern border of western Brazil. The anaconda that attacked him, surfaced out of the water in an instant, its head appeared first followed by several feet of its body. Fawcett shot the anaconda, killing it, he then went to the shore in order to examine the body. He claimed that 45 feet lay out of the water and another 17 feet in it, giving a total of 62 feet.

There have also been several other cases where people have encountered giant anacondas. Although scientists still need to obtain a specimen for research, many people including myself strongly believe in the existence of giant anacondas. Other reports claim that these enormous creatures, have grown up to as much as 80 feet!

So you say that the 62 feet anaconda was shot by a pistol without defending itself and without injuring that guy? Looks very weird too me.
I guess, he saw an anaconda which was enlarged by shadows or murky water. After he shot it, he was too afraid. When he came back, he wouldn't dare to admit his fear and he told this unbelievable story.

This sounds reasonably logical. But I do not want to rule out the possibility of these creatures. The Amazone is huge... and there is enouh room for such a creature.

I also wouldn't rule out the possebility of the existence of such large annaconda's Because creates evolve, some faster then others, like people, people now days live much longer then people in the past. So if that is the same with thoso anaconda's, it is possible.

They have found a large floating ''thing'' about 60 mtrs long in the Tsjoektsjenzee.
Hunters have spotted it and were scared to death.

Only after more research they found out the thing was nothing more then Algen, dont know the english word.

So maybe this solves a lot of questions about giant anaconda's, But there a probably anacondas that can grow up to 30 meters.
